see the sea

Water nurtures life; water devastates life.

Undulating waves seduce her to approach.

Is she heading towards death?

Is she heading towards rebirth?

She is going back, back to the primitive world, back to the initial herself.

– “Are you longing to be one with the sea?”

– “See…”

WAVE

Still is me, rolling is me;

Tossing is me, submerging is me.

Tending the coral, chasing the gull;

Ripping the rib, crashing the skull.

Melting is the luminous,

Sinking is the dimness.

Lagging behind streams to distance adrift,

Falling into vortexes to abyss athwart.

REEF

Silent my voice, riven my skin;

Tear carve the face, era adorn the mien.

Irregularly swell my bones impaling your spirits,

Inexorably clench my fists guarding your dreams.

Solid my heart, soft my soul;

Hail nymphs in lull or whirl.

Who is questing for the last terra firma?

Remember the earth is chanting the aria.

BOAT

Unlash the rope, load the mission;

Fill the fuel, launch the navigation.

Shelter your children with my body,

Waving water is writing melody.

Leaving a trail is in vain,

Conquering nature is man;

Cut the bond, I’d rather become a piece of lonely driftwood;

Forget the destination, floating towards the end of the world.
